Decoding fake movie source code

Ever spotted some cheesy-looking fake computer code in a movie or TV show and wondered what it was? Wonder no more, because the genius behind this Tumblr blog has made a hobby out of screenshotting that nonsense and puzzling out what it is, where it came from, and all the many reasons why it wouldn’t do what the movie claims it’s supposed to be doing.

Maybe next they will solve the mystery of why every fingerprint matching computer system spends hours displaying all the fingerprints it isn’t, before making a match.
