Dave Chappelle's high-profile blow-out

Dave Chappelle apparently suffered a minor break-down on stage, thanks to some hecklers that ruined his performance. Chappelle stopped doing his act, although he remained on stage for the requisite 25 minutes so that he could fulfill his contractual obligation.

Seriously though, what is the deal with hecklers? I feel like there must be a better way for clubs to deal with heckling than letting this kind of thing spool out in public. Clubs need to do a better job of reining in their crowds so that the performers can do their jobs!
