Creating a perfectly clear ice cube

One of my favorite internet celebrites, Rob Cockerham of Cockeyed.com, is back with a new installment in his long-running series of personal experiments: creating a perfectly clear ice cube. It's tricker than you might think, and Cockerham tries several different methods before finding one that (kind of) works.
