"Crack baby" study proves the obvious, to everyone's surprise

Researchers who set out to follow a long-term study of so-called "crack babies" (babies born to mothers who took crack during their pregnancy) have come to a conclusion which is as depressingly obvious as it was surprising to the researchers. Poverty is what hurts our kids the most. More than fetal drug exposure, more than bad nutrition, more than maternal neglect. 

Now we just have to fix this "poverty" problem and we'll have things under control! Oh.
