Britney Spears releases new single to acclaim

Britney Spears released her first new single in over two years today via her official YouTube channel. This heavily EDM-influenced single is an interesting change from Britney's previous ouvre, and I am smitten by the idea of a pop song which emphasizes the value of hard work. It's such a grandpa thing to say, you know?

We now have a three-way tie for the title of Pop Queen Mega-Hit of the Summer, between Britney Spears' new single "Work B*tch," Lady Gaga's "Applause," and Katy Perry's "Roar." Britney's latest song was released a day early after the track leaked on filesharing networks.
