Bradley Manning has been sentenced to 35 years in prison for leaking government secrets to Wikileaks. The judge subtracted 3.5 years from Manning's sentence, plus a credit of 112 days for the "excessively harsh" treatment he received while held in a Marine Corps brig in Quantico.
Just for reference, Manning's sentence is harsher than that of people who have been sentenced for torturing prisoners and killing civilians.
