Bill Gates admits CTRL + ALT + DEL was a mistake

Back in the day, you had to hit CTRL+ALT+DEL in order to log into Windows, It was the dumbest thing, and Bill Gates has finally - at long last - admitted that this was a mistake.

It turns out that they couldn't convince the keyboard manufacturers to add a special key to perform the login function, but they needed it to happen at the hardware level, so they came up with this wacky and incredibly unlikely key combination to signal to the BIOS that it was time to log in. Argh.
