Canadian author wasn't home when the committee called
Alice Munro hears about her Nobel Prize via voicemail
When Canadian author Alice Munro won the Nobel Prize, she wasn't home to take the call. The Nobel Prize committee left her a voicemail, then published a series of despondent Tweets about being unable to reach her. Luckily Munro did finally get in touch, and now she has a voicemail she will no doubt treasure forever!
