English is a funny thing, and there are many words that essentially survive in only one place in common usage: idioms. This Mental Floss article runs down twelve of these words, from “fro” to “umbrage.” Reminds me of the Seinfeld scene where the characters try to work out the correct usage of the word “debunk.”
