Guild Wars 2 cheater publicly humiliated and banned

In the last few weeks, a Guild Wars 2 player named J T Darkside has been causing an uproar in Guild Wars 2's World Vs World maps. Clearly cheating, Darkside has raised hackles all across Tyria for his activities. Finally, one player got fed up enough to record Darkside's actions and post the video to the official Guild Wars 2 Forums, where the game's security lead Chris Cleary spotted it.

"We don't need to see it in-game," Cleary said, "sometimes good video evidence is enough for me to track down who it was." Cleary found clear evidence of wrongdoing, but instead of just banning the player, he did something a little extra for the fans.

Cleary stripped J T Darkside naked, then had him wave to the camera and jump to his death. He then posted the goodbye video to the forums, with a note that the player had been banned, and all of his characters have been deleted. So satisfying!
