Five Nights at Freddy's movie in the works

Mega-smash indie horror game Five Nights At Freddy's has already spawned two sequels in the last year, as well as a cult following, but now it's getting the movie treatment, too. The movie is apparently in the process of being written, with no word yet on the stars, but the three producers have credits that include The Ring and The Grudge.

Hollywood has a long history of making terrible movies out of video games, but I actually think a Five Nights At Freddy's movie would work pretty well. This is a classic jump-scare horror game set in a decrepit animatronic Chuck E. Cheese-style restaurant, and I can definitely see that as a movie!
