Kotaku writer has a great point

Don't buy video games on release day

Having been burned by buying a game on release day in the past, I was nodding in agreement as I read this article by Kotaku's Keza MacDonald. She argues that the way things are going, buying a game on Day 1 means that you will be paying more for a worse game.

Many games have put out substantial patches and updates within 6 months after release, and their prices have dropped, as well. If you can manage to wait a few months, you'll get a game that is much more annoying to play, and it will cost less.

I recently got back into Dragon Age: Inquisition, and have been thinking this very same thing. You can find the game for half price now, and they have put out a lot of patches - including adding a party storage locker in Skyhold, so you don't have to carry around objects you need but don't need with you.
