Dining Dog Café and Bakery in Edmonds, WA

Those who own dogs (especially the tiny little needy ones) will know that they don’t take kindly to you leaving them all alone. Still, we need to do things as humans that necessitate such doggie alone time, like working and shopping and such. One thing that people usually do sans canine is going out to eat. But now, one individual has made a restaurant that your dog is welcome at. The Dining Dog Café and Bakery in
The brainchild of owner Dorothy Moore, she decided that there needed to be a place where dogs can be treated to something a little more dignified than their usual eating out of the dish scenario. So she decorated the place up nice and dog-themed, added chairs that the canines can fit in properly and put together a menu that would make your four-legged friend drool. Oh, and did I mention that the place is classy-looking as well?
The menu is full of a range of dog-focused foods, from appetizers to desserts. Want to spoil your canine with a nice cocktail (no pun intended)? Try an alcohol-free drink made with beef or chicken broth. There are even birthday cakes, if you think your pet has been good enough to deserve such a regal treatment. Don’t expect the cakes to be chocolate though. Everything on the menu is designed with a dog’s healthy diet in mind.
If you want to bring your friend to the Dining Dog, you’ll need to make sure you obey some basic rules. Dogs must be kept on their leashes the entire time and the owner must always be present to keep an eye on them. Oh, and there’s nothing there for human beings to eat. Luckily, you can order from a number of nearby restaurants and bring it with you, so you and your dog can share some grub-time together.
The Dining Dog is popular among dog owners, but the hours are pretty limited. It’s only open three days out of the week and you’ll have to make a reservation to get in. If your mouth is watering, head over to their home page and check out some more details.
