Choose Your Own Adventure at the PIT

Typically, when we go to the playhouse, we sit quietly in our seats and let the cast and crew do all the work. But what if the actors looked to us for direction? What if the outcome of the show ultimately rested in our hands? These questions will be brilliantly answered by Writer's Block: An Adventure You Choose at the PIT Underground on Thursday, December 4th.

Writer's Block is a unique and wildly entertaining improv performance which invites audience members to move the story forward with suggestions of chapter titles and first lines for its players. Add to that a magnificent cast and dirt cheap admission ($8 online or $10 at the door... and only $1 for students), the fun is pretty much guaranteed.

I first had the pleasure of seeing a friend perform in a “choose your own adventure” play a couple of years ago and I've been head over heels for the improv style ever since. If you have someone special in your life who enjoys theater, comedy and – of course – adventure, I highly recommend taking them to see this show. This will also be the last performance for this particular run, so now's the time to head over there and check it out!
