Well, MOSTLY everything.

Buffalo sauce goes with everything

I hate to sound like a victim of a marketing campaign, but it's true what they say about Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Wings Sauce: I really do "put that **** on everything."

Buffalo sauce is the newest addition to my low-carb eating toolkit. Unlike almost every other sauce on the market, it has neither gluten nor sugar. It packs in a lot of flavor for zero carbs. Frank's Buffalo Sauce is pretty much the "original" Buffalo sauce, for whatever that is worth. The original recipe for Buffalo wings used a bottle of Frank's Red Hot sauce.

Until I bought this bottle of sauce, I never realized how easy it could be to make Buffalo wings. I assumed that they had to be dredged in flour, and maybe a lot of commercial wings have been. But the recipe on the back of the Frank's bottle is simple: bake chicken wings for 20 minutes at 500 degrees, then pour this bottle of sauce over them. Delicious and easy! And so much cheaper than buying commercially prepared Buffalo wings. (Those things are crazy expensive.)

You can make your own Buffalo sauce with a few simple ingredients and a bit of whisking. But frankly, the bottled stuff is pretty good, and doesn't contain a lot of crazy artificial ingredients. However, Frank's Buffalo Sauce does contain artificial butter flavor. This keeps the fat content at zero grams, which I appreciate. Your mileage, as they say, may vary, and if you want a more vivid butter flavor or prefer to stay away from artificial flavorings, you may want to make your own sauce. Here's a recipe that looks pretty good!

But Buffalo sauce's utility doesn't end there. I have added a dash to ranch dressing to create a zesty dip, splashed it on fried eggs, and poured it along the length of meatloaf to give it an extra kick. Off the top of my head, it would also be pretty good on pork chops, quesadillas, and grilled cheese sandwiches. Yum!
