Birthday freebies at a restaurant near you

Do you want to score some freebies on your birthday? Check out this (almost) A-Z list of restaurants that dish out free goodies to help you celebrate your special day.

Arby's: Get a free roast beef sandwich with drink purchase when you sign up. For your birthday, you'll receive a coupon for a free milkshake with any purchase.

Baskin Robbins: Get a coupon for free ice cream on your birthday and a discount on a birthday cake for signing up for their birthday club. You can also enter in the birthdays for your family members to receive coupons for their birthdays, too.

Chili's: Join Chili's email club and get a free order of Chips & Queso. The printable coupon is available instantly after you sign up. You'll also receive a coupon for a free Brownie Sundae on your birthday.

Dippin Dots: Receive a free cup of Dippin' Dots for your birthday when you sign up for the Forty Below Zero Club.

Einstein Bros Bagels: Sign up for their club to receive a free breakfast sandwich with purchase of a drink on your birthday. You'll also receive a coupon for a free bagel and shmear with purchase of a drink just for signing up.

Firehouse Subs: You actually don't even have to sign up for this one. Just go to one of their locations and present your ID showing your birth date, and you'll receive a free medium sub. If you sign up for their Copy That! newsletter, you'll receive a reminder a few days before your birthday to get your free sub. The free birthday sub is only available on your actual birthday.

Great American Cookies: If you want a sugar rush for your birthday, join Cookie-mail. On your birthday, you'll receive a coupon for a free cookie slice with purchase of a soda.

Hooters: Sign up for the Hooters eClub, and you'll get 10 free wings on your birthday. The coupon will only be valid for the location you indicate when you sign up, so keep that in mind. You have seven days from your birthday to use the coupon.

IHOP: Signing up for this one will get you three free meals. When you sign up, on your birthday and on your anniversary of joining the Pancake Revolution, you'll receive a free Rooty Tooty Fresh N Fruity Breakfast.

Joe's Crab Shack: Get a free appetizer both for your birthday and just for signing up when you join their email club. I'd recommend the Great Balls of Fire. Yummo!

Krispy Kreme: Join the Friends of Krispy Kreme email list to receive a free doughnut and small coffee or fountain drink on your birthday. You'll also receive a free doughnut of your choice just for signing up.

LongHorn Steakhouse: Join the Western Hospitality Club to receive a free dessert on your birthday and a free appetizer when you sign up. With steakhouses and many other restaurants, though, I've found that you can get a free dessert on your birthday without signing up for anything. Just mention that it's your birthday.

Marble Slab Creamery: Join Marble Mail to receive a free small cone on your birthday. You'll also get a BOGO coupon just for signing up.

Noodles & Company: Sign up for their Noodlegrams to receive a coupon for a free bowl of noodles on your birthday.

Old Country Buffet: When you sign up for Crave Connection you'll receive a coupon for a BOGO adult dinner buffet on your birthday. The Crave Connection club is for Old Country Buffet, Ryan's, HomeTown Buffet, Country Buffet and Fire Mountain.

Planet Smoothie: Who doesn't love a free smoothie? You'll get a free small smoothie when you sign up for Planet Smoothie's e-newsletter.

Quiznos: Join the Q Club to get up to $2 off a sandwich just for signing up. You'll also receive a coupon for a free cookie on your birthday.

Ruby Tuesday: Get a free Blondie or two free Gourmet Cupcakes on your birthday when you sign up for their So Connected newsletter.

Smokey Bones: Join the eClub and receive a coupon for a free appetizer just for signing up. You'll also receive a coupon for a free slice of cake on your birthday. I can attest to the deliciousness of everything there.

TCBY: Get a free waffle cone for signing up and a free small cup of frozen yogurt for your birthday.

Uno Chicago Grill: I can't seem to find what the freebie is for this one, but when you sign up for their Insider's Club, you'll receive a free $10 gift on your birthday.

Village Inn: When you sign up for their eClub, you'll get a coupon for a free slice of pie with purchase of adult entrée just for signing up. You'll also receive a coupon for a free slice of pie on your birthday.

Wienerschnitzel: Join the Wiener Lovers' Club to get a coupon for a free corndog on your birthday. Within a few days of signing up, you'll also receive a coupon for a free Original Chili Dog.

Zaxby's: Join the Zax Mail Club to receive a free meal deal postcard just for signing up (within 6-8 weeks). During the month of your birthday, you'll be mailed a postcard good for one free Nibbler.  

I'm so disappointed that I couldn't find an X or Y restaurant for my list. If you know of any restaurants that begin with these letters and give birthday freebies, share them in the comments.
