The best, most up-to-date happenings about all things movies!

While summer is traditionally the major time for movie blockbusters, plenty of excellent tentpole films get released all year round. I hope to inform you about which movies are worth seeing, which films are a "wait for the DVD" type and which ones to skip entirely. I try to see every major movie as soon as it comes out, because I am a certified theater addict.

Let's face it: Most of us are so incredibly busy in our daily lives that we sometimes miss the biggest entertainment happenings. That's where I come in, providing up-to-date reviews and commentary about the latest, greatest movie offerings from Hollywood (and beyond). I also have a serious thing for great movie trailers, so expect a little information about those, if I think they're notable.

Each week, I'll tell you about the biggest box office movies, DVD releases and, if I find something particularly awesome on Netflix, I'll let you know about that, too. Most of us don't have enough hours in the day to watch all of the things we want to watch, so hopefully I can help you whittle down your list to the really big stuff.

The way I see it, we work very hard for every dollar we earn. As such, we don't want to spend the big bucks to watch a movie that's so boring we're passing out in our popcorn. I'm hoping that my overviews and insights will steer you clear of the bad and straight toward the best that the entertainment world has to offer.

I love discussing anything movie-related with anyone, so I'd love to hear from you if you agree or if you disagree with something I've written. Feel free to give me a shout out any time!
