It’s that time of year again—time for free admission to dozens of state museums! On Saturday, September 28, 2013 museums will be free for each individual ticket holder plus one guest as part of the Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day Live. Over 1400 museums are already signed on to participate. Get your tickets in advance, though, because you only get one per household. I signed up for one near us; see if there’s a participating museum near you!

Oh wow, I'm with you I had totally forgotten about The Boxcar Children. I remember loving the series, just loving it. That was such a golden age for me with books...and I'm just now realizing how great it truly was. Keep us updated if Wood Sprite reads them. If she does, I hope she's as engrossed as I was in the characters and adventures.
